Percy even become a host for a god! which is funny.Īt first i was going to read Brooklyn House Magician's Manual first, which turn out some of the missing piece of the story is in this book. That made Percy, Annabeth, Carter and Sadie to combine (again) Greek and Egyptian. He was trying to make himself a god, Greek and Egyptian. The last one is the one who has been making the first two incident before. That made them to work together, combining Greek and Egyptian spells together to beat them. They realize that the god that they met isn't just greek god, but a hybrid god between Greek and Egyptian.

The story continues with Annabeth meeting Sadie. Together they fight the huge crocodile who's wearing the necklace of son of Sobek, turns out the huge crocodile is just a baby crocodile. That because the monster isn't Greek monster but Egyptian monster. Carter was trying to detect some disturbance that happened while patrolling, meeting the huge crocodile who eat him whole, Percy save him by fighting the crocodile but weirdly the monster just didn't disappear when met the bronze sword from Percy which usually they do. The story start with the meeting of Carter with Percy. Then read this one right away, since the story is AFTER the ending of the third book of the Serpent's shadow. It's not really necessary for you to read the whole series, in order to read it, but to avoid some spoiler for the relationship (which you probably already know) and since i'm an OCD, i will read PJO for this one.ģ.
#Demigods and magicians, by rick riordan series#
You must read the Percy Jackson series first. But this time it didn't include which series its belong or what order like novellas usually are (i mean with number after title, 0.5, 3.5 kind of thing, you know?) so it's a companion book rather than novella, but no worries, i personally gonna give you the reading order for this.ġ.

The story include three short stories, The Son of Sobek, The Staff of Serapis and The Crown of Ptolemy. It's so pretty! I never been a big fan of purple, but this one just feel so vibrant, and pleasing in my eye, tho i always prefer pastel-tone color (well some part are pastels i guess? i dunno i'm being so random) anyway, let's dive in!Īs always according to our book bible Goodreads, this book counted as Percy Jackson & Kane Chronicles Crossover Series #1-3. This time i bring you the one that i've been anticipating to read this year since i've read the Kane Chronicles series : Demigods & Magicians, which is a crossover story between Kane Siblings and Percy Jackson with Annabeth.įirst of all, shall we take a time to look at that pretty cover? i mean not just the book cover but also my post cover. We are back with another is it worth reading? series where i will rate a novella or companion of a series and rate it whether is it worth your time for reading it or not.
